Charlotte Knutsen ’25

Charlotte Knutsen '25

Voice Part: Soprano/Alto
Pronouns: She/Her/Hers
Concentration: Music/Literary Arts

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Charlotte Knutsen is a one-stop performing arts shop. She plays violin, she acts, she designs costumes, and of course, she sings. Indeed, music is Charlotte’s refuge in this cruel world, a world for which she will always have a dystopian interpretation (those are her words!). Still, no matter how she sees things, she never fails to describe her thoughts in poetic fashion. Such gems include “a fire truck is like a migraine on wheels” and “rock flute and egg salad are the banes of my existence.” This penchant is perhaps best demonstrated in her magnum opus, a fiction series called Willy the Wonder Dog written in the second grade. Charlotte finds great inspiration in nature, but she especially appreciates an early spring day, where she might ironically delight in her favorite color, sunset orange. Well, Charlotte, we delight in performing with you!
