And the final member of our #babykeys is the lovely William!

Coming from Oklahoma City, William Loughridge is one of our newest tenors in the group. While extremely talented with his vocals, William also has some varying levels of expertise with the following instruments: piano, guitar, bass guitar, vibraphone, saxophone, banjo, mandolin, trumpet, ukulele, bagpipes (theoretically) and more! In addition to music, William is interested in exploring the historical relationship of philosophy, religion and politics during his time here at Brown. When not in rehearsal with the keys, Will is devoting time to the Brown Politial Review publication as a staff writer, advocating with Brown Initiative for Policy, and working as an editor for the JPPE (Brown University's Journal of Philosophy, Politics & Economics). Will manages these extracurriculars, school and more due to his impressive google calendar capabilities. When spotted on campus, you'll either see William dressed like the professor who’s lecture you just left or sporting a sweater from his amazing thrifted collection. If you're lucky, you'll see Will dressed ready to attend a square dancing event with the Old-Time String Band! William brings a special charm to this group as a new member but also as one of our newest musical directors!

Our next #babykeys is our newest t e n a s s of the group!

Joining the Keys all the way from Hong Kong, please welcome Brandon Choy, the most prolific arranger to grace our group in recent history: within his first semester of being in the group, he completed six arrangements (ranging from Clairo to Tyler, the Creator) and has a playlist of another twenty songs he wants to arrange. He also writes and produces his own music: find his often-bossa-nova-infused beats at BCHOY on Spotify! Brandon's musical talents don't stop with his arranging, music production, and singing: he is also a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, drums, clarinet, and more. Brandon plans to double concentrate in music and a STEM subject. And even outside of the musical sphere, Brandon's pursuit of his passions is inspiring — in high school, he was a cheerleader, a dancer, and a sprinting champion. Brandon's only weakness? His sense of direction and his irrepressible desire to explore “shortcuts” that end up becoming longcuts. Here at Brown, he can't wait to continue developing his music, pursuing his many passions, and working towards his biggest dream: to lead a life of performing music for people.
